The Rainbow Room is your friendly neighborhood bar with a rainbow twist! Recalling the nostalgia of classic 80s and 90s gay bars, the venue lives up to its name with Pride colors prominently displayed everywhere. The design of The Rainbow Room pays homage to some real life gay bars patronized by the decorator. We want to honor the pioneers who fought for gay rights and those who continue fighting every day by recreating their spaces in Final Fantasy XIV.While the design is wholly original by White Magick Design, it draws inspiration from Frankly Scarlett, a gay bar which was located in Fort Walton Beach, Florida but is sadly no longer in business, and Gabriel's Downtown, the oldest alternative lifestyle bar in Alabama. There are also nods to Emerald City which had been in business in Pensacola, Florida and its sister establishment, Oz in New Orleans, Louisiana, which continues to provide an exceptional experience for patrons in the vibrant French Quarter. Our goal is to offer patrons a fun evening of immersive and inclusive role play in a welcoming atmosphere that celebrates LGBTQ+ voices. You are valid. You are loved. Our staff is always available during venue hours for lighthearted role play. Feel free to engage at any time! The 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month we offer Open Stage Night where patrons may take the stage to share their talents from bardic performances to storytelling, stand up comedy, and much more! The 2nd and 4th Sundays DJ Deimos shakes the house with disco funk and pop remixes of everyone's favorite beats!
